Ichiro Nakagawa - Japan Sri Lanka is a beautiful island with a lot of potential. Apart from various parks where different plants and wildlife can be spotted, you can enjoy ancient cultural remnants of previous capitols and temples. But also the Sri Lanka of today is a very interesting melting pot of different religions that harmoniously coexist, each with their own remarkable places of worship. To top it all up the landscape with extended rice and tea fields, jungles that inhabit many unique ecosystems, and shores with beautiful beaches and marine wildlife make it a very desirable destination for a vacation. We spent almost three weeks there, that were organised by Taprobane Tours & Travels. They proved to be very professional and reliable. The advantage of a regional operator is that—apart from the ‘must sees’—they also can include the ‘hidden gems’ in the itinerary. What was also important for us was that our money benefitted the Sri Lankans and not some large western tour organisation. All in all we had a very enjoyable trip. We have seen very many interesting things, were introduced to the Sri Lankan culture and got acquainted with locals and the local kitchen. We can surely recommend the services of Taprobane Tours & Travels to everybody who is planning a visit to Sri Lanka and is really interested in what the island has to offer. Lilly & bFrans Kampers - Netherlands Excellent travel planning!Amazing service and a kind driver. Hilde Aksdal - Norway We recently used Tabrobane Tours and Travels who organize our trip, and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, everything was meticulously planned and executed, ensuring we had a fantastic time. The itinerary covered all the must-see sights and included some delightful surprises along the way. The accommodations and transportation were top-notch, and every detail was taken care of seamlessly. To top it off, we even received a thoughtful gift to take home, which was a wonderful touch. We highly recommend Tabrobane Tours and Travels for anyone looking to have an stress-free and memorable travel experience. Thank you for making our trip unforgettable! Marina Raj - United Kingdom Thoroughly enjoyed our adventure through the North and East of the “Pearl of the Indian Ocean”. Many thanks to our driver, Prashanth, for navigating us throughout. Superb choice of hotels from TTT, especially the Fox Resort in Jaffna. Would highly recommend this travel agency to all who’d like a taste of what Sri Lanka truly has to offer. Thank you! Sri Ranjan - United Kingdom In April 2024, I had the pleasure of embarking on a four-week tour of Sri Lanka, expertly organised by Taprobane Tours. Designed for a small group with a meticulously planned itinerary, the trip offers a succession of delightful surprises and deep satisfaction, leaving you eager to return again by the time it concludes. Rumiko - Japan 1 review • 0 photos starstarstarstarstar 2 days ago New We had an amazing experience with Taprobane Tours and Travels (TTT) during our trip to Sri Lanka. Nishan and his wife, the owners of TTT, did an outstanding job organising our itinerary, including the tours and hotel accommodations for our group of 10 people. Everything was well planned and executed, making our holiday completely stress-free. The coach arranged by TTT was spacious and very comfortable throughout the journey. A special thank you to our driver, Kumar, and our guide, Malshan, who were both incredibly professional, friendly, and always willing to help. Their knowledge, care, and dedication made our trip even more enjoyable. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, and we created wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. We wholeheartedly recommend Taprobane Tours and Travels to anyone planning a visit to Sri Lanka. Thank you for making our holiday so special! ❤️ Roxon Kumar 1 review • 1 photo starstarstarstarstar 4 weeks ago New We really enjoyed every minute of the last trip Taprobane tours and travels have arranged to Ella and Udawalawe. The most recent was in July, 2025. It was a short tour of two nights at Sinharaja Forest Reserve. Nishantha was very responsive to my needs, including a visit to the Department of Immigration and an overnight stay at his homestay. In 2023, I took a one week tour with Taprobane to the south coast of Sri Lanka. Nishantha booked a custom itinerary of locations and lodgings that reflected my interests in archeological and natural sites. The price was reasonable and the personal attention was outstanding. I look forward to another tour with Taprobane in the future. It is a land of smiles and warm welcome, observed by Anton Chekov, Bernard Shaw and Sir Arthur C.Clarke , who made Sri Lanka his home and the inspiration for at least two of his books.
