Day 5-6: Nuwara Eliya → Yala National Park

Scenic drive via Ella.
2 safaris in Yala: Morning + evening.

Day 7: Yala → Udawalawe

Udawalawe National Park – best place to see wild elephants guaranteed.

Day 8: Udawalawe → Mirissa / Tangalle – Coastal Nature

Morning: Bundala National Park for flamingos, storks, and wetland birds.
Afternoon: Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda or Whale watching in Mirissa season Dec-Apr.
Stay: Beachfront eco resort

 

Day 9: Mirissa → Colombo → Airport

Stop at Muthurajawela Marsh for mangrove walk and kingfishers.
